Magnolia Picture Library, Magnificent Spring DisplayA Magnolia picture library with free flower pictures. The correct name for each picture is given. Magnolia trees give a spectacular spring flower display. A Magnolia tree makes an excellent focal point. It is one of the most beautiful flowering trees in the world. This slow growing tree deserves a place in all large gardens. It is also suitable for smaller garden designs, provided it is correctly placed. Flowers appear on bare stems. Some flowers are extremely large; more than 20cm in diameter! Magnolias enjoy slightly acid soil. They are grown in sun to partial shade and need shelter from strong winds. Some species, e.g. M. Campbellii, take up to 30 years to flower when grown from seed. Grafted and budded plants take 15 years to flower. Some hybrids like Magnolia Caerhays Surprise only takes 7 years. Well, it seems like we need some patience! We will have to plant them for our grand children :-) In the meantime we can enjoy a magnolia picture or two. Start clicking and enjoy the show! Choose the best and include them in your
garden design. Magnolia Picture List
